Masters of Illustration Exhibition
Thank you to everyone who came for the Masters of Illustration Exhibition on the 1st and 2nd of November! Big thanks to James at Coastguard Studio for having us in the space and being very accommodating.
The 1st was a really great evening and we we're happy to see the space busy with visitors. It was brilliant to see all the work come together from this years graduating UOP students. It really was an eclectic range of work from artists books to sculpture and more.
This exhibition was unique in it's curation and presentation. As well as showcasing artwork from various artists, the exhibition featured the "Sketchbook Corner". This allowed visitors to brows through the sketchbooks of the artists showcasing work, giving them an insight into the creators mind and working methodology. It was also a celebration of the sketchbook itself.
There was also a pop-up show where visitors could buy items as well as brows some of the other artwork created by the featured artists.
The exhibition was accompanied by the sounds by the MA's very own Torin Glock's DJ skills.
